HYDROSEEDING VULCAPLANT

Hydroseeding is a soil planting process that uses water, fertilizer a tackifying agent ( if necessary ) and mulch together in single operation.

The success of this seeding method is tied to the following factors:

use of good, highly germinable seeds, the quality and type will vary depending on whether the ground is level, moderately sloping or steeply sloping.

the fertiliser used if bioactivated with humic acids , bacteria and enzymes it is the best solution , because it will provide support to seeds after germination and during early root development and ensure availability and render the soil fertile in subsequent months as well.

the mulching fiber must be of cellulose or woody material , so that it can hold a very large quantity of water ( 10-15 times its own weight ) and make it available over time  until the first roots appear ( about 4-6 weeks ).

ADVANTAGES OF HYDROSEEDING

The advantages of using this planting technique are numerous:

Possibility of planting in imprevious soils and on steeply sloping ground.

Possibility of planting vast areas at a very modest cost.

Very effective planting technique, uniform seed distribution without furrows.

Possibility also of planting in ground with abundant rock outcrops, which with traditional machinery would be more complicated , both in terms of distribution and uniformity of distribution.

FIELDS OF APPLICATION OF HYDROSEEDING

Below we list the fields of application of this planting technique:

- Road, highway and railway embakements.

- Quarry reclamation.

- River and lake banks.

- Golf courses and football pitches.

- Ski runs.

- Raised green areas.

- Very large parks and gardens.

- Airport green areas.

- Gas and oil pipelines
